My Beliefs

              I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ, and I know He suffered and died for each person who has and who will ever live on earth. That belief is so important to me, and it affects everything I do. I believe God is a loving Heavenly Father and that he knows me. I love praying to Him and I feel great strength and power as I do. I know he hears and answers my prayers, and I have seen great miracles in my life as a result of prayer. I love the Bible, and believe in it with all my heart. The Bible is a record of God's dealings with man through prophets that were called to be His mouthpiece (e.g. Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses). A fundimental belief of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, often called the Mormon church, is that this pattern of revelation from God to prophets continues. We have a living prophet on the earth today! That is incredible to me! In fact, we believe the same church that existed during the Old Testament and New Testament times has been restored to the earth today, with every gift and power that the ancient people were blessed with. Part of that includes the ability and authority for couples to be married forever...beyond "till death do you part." Families can be 'sealed' or united forever through the priesthood power I believe is on the earth today.

 We also have the Book of Mormon, which is a record of the prophets that lived on the American continent during the time of the Old and New Testament prophets. Both the Holy Bible and the Book of Mormon testify of each other, and most importantly of Jesus Christ.

I also believe in:

 the importance of eating chocolate

 getting a good night's sleep (though it never happens for me),

 a good run

 eating breakfast and laughing everyday

picking up your dirty clothes,

and trying to only say positive things about others. 

I believe life can be great, if you make it great! This is your life, so make it awesome!

I believe every person is special, and has an important story to tell. 

Every person deserves respect and love.

I believe in Ramen Noodles and Mac'n'Cheese for dinner (occasionally)

I believe in reaching goals and becoming better everyday. 

I believe you can do whatever you put your mind to..in fact, you can succeed!

I love good movies, wholesome language, and virtuous, confident women. 

I love seeing people sincerely smile. 

I love hearing children laugh.

I believe in spending every second possible outside when it is sunny. 

I believe life is a wonderful thing.
